BHP said its analysis of China's proposed One Belt And One Road infrastructure projects showed that China's One Belt And One Road would boost copper demand by about 1.6m tonnes, or 7 per cent of China's annual copper demand.Seventy percent of that demand will come from 100 power plant projects.
So far, 68 countries and regions in Eurasia, Africa, Latin America and the Pacific region have participated in One Belt And One Road, with a total of 115 projects.
The "One Belt And One Road" project, which accounts for about a third of the global economy, will pull $1.3 trillion in investment by 2023.
